Tutorial: How to make your own wall hanging using punches

Hello crafters! It’s a new month and a new theme at Pretty Paper Studio. This month at Pretty Paper Studioh we’re putting our spot light on punches. No, I am not talking about the hole puncher you have at home or your office for all the paper work that needs filing, but punches with design. Yes, design punches that come in different shapes and sizes, reliving you of the hassle to cut out the same shapes over and over again. So, whether you are thinking of making star shaped confetti to fill in balloons or snow flake confetti to decorate your table over Christmas dinner, there is a punch for it all. Just check Pretty Paper Studio’s online store to see the vast stock of punches they have.

For this month’s ‘Mom and Me’ craft, my daughter and I decided to make a colourful wall hanging to hang over her bed. One of the walls in her room is covered in butterfly stickers and that inspired me to go for the butterfly punch. Using various other craft materials from the PPS store and help from my daughter, I have created a beautiful wall hanging.

This wall hanging can be customised in various ways and the steps are very easy to follow. To learn more about how to design this wall hanging, click here.
