How to Plan your Blog content- Free Printable blog post planner

So you’re done with your chores, the toddler is blissfully asleep and you’re ready to start on that blog post you’ve been thinking about and meaning to write for a while now.

However, don’t do what I do when it comes to writing a post. And by that I mean, sit with a new blank document open on Microsoft Word but spend an entire hour scrolling around on Facebook groups and Pinterest Boards, checking your phone everytime you receive a notification (and also, when it’s doesn’t ping, wondering why no one is missing you), and snacking on junk, which in turn results in a few sticky fingers!

I could not have allowed for this to go on forever and so…

I’ve just prepared a Blog Content Planner which allows me to plan and research on post ideas before hand, and I’m excited to share this with you.

how to plan content for your blog post

What does this Blog Content Planner include?

–      A Yearly calendar to help plan out blog posts in advance; perfect for holidays, events and special days coming up, that you would like to write about when the times comes.

–      A blank monthly overview that can be filled in with dates for any month. You can print how many ever copies you need for this page. You have the flexibility to start the planner from the start of the year, that is January, or from the middle of the year, for example, September.

–      A blog post planner, which when filled in prior to starting your post will keep all your ideas and notes in one place. This also includes a checklist for everything you must do before you hit that ‘Publish’ button and a few reminders about what your post must include, which may just make your blog post go viral.

–      A Social Stats tracker for tracking your followers on your blog and various social media platforms. This is always wonderful when you want to take a step back and look at what posts worked well with you target audience.

Thanks Meghna. I guess, thanks to a toddler who still depends on me, I had to find a way to optimise my work output while utilising my time efficiently. Therefore, decided to design this planner and thought…hey, why not share too!
